The debut album The One and I was recorded in September 2019, in the Polish studio Serakos, which has also been utilised for years by the prog giants Riverside.
We perceive the album as various, slightly chaotic, but still emphasizing melodic and catchy refrains.
The album cover was created by the artist Jeffrey Thelin (@teyleen) and is closely related to the album title. Its dominant is the letter I, or the number 1 when thinking in a different perspective, which represents the lyrics that are mostly focused on getting to know oneself as an individual and contemplating about the mission of man as such. The only song that differs from this theme is the single The Artificial and the Savior, which has a mostly a story based (rock opera) character, with a sci-fi theme, hard to explain in just a few lines.

LATE is a progressive metal band based in Slovakia, founded in 2012 by Patrik Kovár (guitar) and Ján Hyža (Drums), soon
joined by Michal Žiak (guitar). After multiple changes the lineup took its current form with Martin Vacula on bassguitar and Lukáš Mikulský on vocals.
Influenced by other progressive rock/metal bands they developed their very own style, which was changing throughout the time.
